Terms of use
Last updated: October 29, 2026
These terms apply to using www.focusity.co.il and the Focusity app, on the web, iPhone and Android. We wrote them in plain language. How we look after your data is explained in our privacy policy.
Who we are
Focusity is a study planner for university and high-school students, developed and run by Meir Vaknin (ID / business no. 315057026, 12 Amos Yarkoni St., Be'er Sheva, Israel). For anything at all, email meir.vaknin02@gmail.com.
The service
Focusity imports your timetable, exams and assignments and builds a study plan in your free time. Most of the service is free, with no time limit. Some smart tools (the assistant, scans, past-exam practice and flashcards) are free up to 10 smart actions a month, and practically unlimited with Focusity Premium, subject to fair use.
Your account
- You open an account with email, Google or Apple, and you're responsible for keeping access to it safe.
- The service is not directed at children under 13.
- Users under 18 should use the app with a parent's knowledge, and buying a subscription requires a parent's consent.
- You can delete your account and all your data at any time: Profile → Delete account.
Price and payment
- Focusity Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: ₪29.90 a month or ₪149.90 a year in the Israeli store. Outside Israel the store shows a price in your local currency. The price the store shows before you confirm is the price you pay.
- The first week is free. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you're not charged at all. After the trial, the subscription renews at the price above, every month or year, until you cancel.
- Purchases and billing go through Apple's App Store or Google Play, under their terms. Your payment details never reach us.
- If the price changes, the change applies only from the next period, after advance notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Cancelling
- Cancel at any time: on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and on Android in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- You can also cancel by email at meir.vaknin02@gmail.com, and we'll reply within 3 business days. A Google Play subscription we can cancel ourselves; an Apple subscription is cancelled in your iPhone settings, and we'll walk you through it.
- After you cancel, Premium stays available until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are requested from Apple or Google under their policies, and we'll help. Any right you have under consumer protection law is unaffected.
AI-generated content
Some tools create content automatically: the assistant's answers, scanned rows, hints and solutions for practice questions, and flashcards. This content can contain mistakes. Check it against your course material and don't rely on it as your only source. Use it only where your school and lecturer allow, and never during an exam.
Your content
- What you put into the app belongs to you. We use it only to run the service for you, as explained in the privacy policy.
- Upload only files you're allowed to use, such as material from your own course for personal study.
Fair use
Don't use the service to harm others or the service itself: no getting around limits or permissions, no automated load on the system, no copying the service or selling access to it. For a serious breach we may suspend an account, giving notice first where we can.
Changes to the service and these terms
We keep improving Focusity, so features change. If we materially reduce a paid feature or materially change these terms, we'll tell you in advance, in the app or by email, and you can cancel before the change applies.
Liability
Focusity is a planning aid. Decisions about your studies, and checking exam and deadline dates with your school, remain yours. We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but outages and faults can happen. As far as the law allows, our liability for indirect loss is limited, and our total liability will not exceed what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for bodily injury, for wilful misconduct, or any right you have by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Israeli law, and you may go to any competent court in Israel. On iPhone, Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies.
